Mendini’s ‘Earthly Paradise’ on show in Milan. The exhibition, to be held from 25 November to 12 March 2022 in the spaces of Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea in Milan, exalts, 90 years after his birth, one of the most original features of the career of the artist and designer 3 times Compasso d’Oro. The exhibition “Alessandro Mendini and…” is dedicated to that cultural area of some important authors who knew Alessandro and collaborated with him in various phases of his experimentation with the idea that inventions and small formal or conceptual revolutions could be born from groups and associations, however heterogeneous they may be: and that this idea of collective work could shine all the more brightly and have a long life, the more generous the openness of the projects to other voices, in a sort of Gesamtkunstwerk of ideas, forms and people.
